WORTHY OF THE CALL AFFIRMATION BUNDLE
"Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:1-2
In our Church, we are given the gift of both Sacred Scripture and Tradition. We get to read, pray, and ponder the Word of God everyday in daily Mass. And we are blessed to hear Him speak to us intentionally through these words. We also receive wisdom from the Saints who have gone before us. Men and women who like us prayed for a deep surrender to become virtuous and overcome vices. I find so much comfort in reading their words and learning from their wisdom and witness of striving for union with Jesus.
Sacred art has been touching my heart in a new way recently, especially images of women mothering, praying, and completing simple, mundane homemaking tasks. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, I felt a nudge to pair these beautiful images with scripture and wisdom from the Saints to encourage and invite the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control, into everyday life.
When washing the sink full of dishes, be reminded that “small tasks performed with great love are truly coins of salvation.”
When sweeping the floor for the third time for the day, do “not grow weary of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not lose heart.”
When responding with love when you feel hurt, read “It is a duty to view life with joy and to face it with energy… draw strength from the source of all strength.”
Use our custom-made wooden block to display and switch out the cards.
I pray this new collection draws you closer to our Lord, the source of all goodness and invites the Holy Spirit to dwell in your heart.
