Bl. Chiara Badano Holy Card

An answered prayer to her parents, Chiara was an only child and grew up with a generous and kind heart. After joining the Focolare Movement, she had a deep encounter with the love of Christ. At 17 she was diagnosed with sarcoma with metastases. She endured severe pain and lost use of her legs. She would repeat, “For you, Jesus: if you want this, so do I!”. Chiara died in 1990. May we seek an intimate union with Jesus through our own suffering and cross like Bl. Chiara.
