St. Maximilian Kolbe Holy Card

At the age of ten, St. Maximilian Kolbe had a vision of our Blessed Mother offering him a crown of red for martyrdom or white for purity (priesthood). He chose both and entrusted his life to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He founded the Militia of the Immaculata and was ordained a priest, then started a newspaper to spread truth. Faithful serving missions in Japan, he came back to Poland and was arrested by Nazis in 1941. He was sent to Auschwitz and offered his life for another. St. Maximilian Kolbe died in the starvation bunker with an injection after surviving much longer than expected. Ask his intercession for courage, humility, kindness, charity, and a deepened devotion to our Blessed Mother.
