PRAYER IN TIME OF EXASPERATION PRAYER CARD

From the spiritual read, Holiness for Housewives, this prayer is one I go back to when the sweet interruptions sent from our Lord have become unbearable and while I have taken on too much that causes me to become exhausted. These words have provided time and time again consolation to my weary momma's heart and soul. Our Lord, in his kindness, does not withhold anything that isn't for our good, that isn't a means for us to grow in love for Him. The final sentence of this prayer is so beautiful that it pierces my soul every time I read it. Dom Zeller says, "Lord, let the surface of my soul be calm, so that it may reflect Your image and Your will." Oh Lord, grant us the grace to reflect your image to those before us, especially our children whom you have gifted to us. Let our hearts always be opened to receive Your most perfect will.
