ST. NICHOLAS PRAYER CARD
One of the most beloved Saints, St. Nicholas is the patron Saint of children and the legend behind Santa Claus. He was made bishop and tradition says he attended the Council of Nicaea, punching heretic in the face. The most well known story of St. Nicholas is his generosity and kindness to a widower's daughters, blessing them with dowries through their window in secret. Children all over the world celebrate St. Nicholas' Day on December 6th, by putting out a shoe next to their chimney or front door the evening before. St. Nicholas gifts children with oranges, chocolate coins, and other special treats the morning of his feast day! It truly is the sweetest feast!!
